Galatasaray have announced the signing of Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen on a season long loan.
Osimhen, 25, had earlier attracted interests from different clubs including Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Chelsea and Saudi Arabian outfit, Al-Ahli, however it didn’t materialise.
“An agreement has been reached with professional footballer Victor James Osimhen and his club SSCN Napoli SPA for the temporary transfer of the player free of charge.
“The football player will be paid a net seasonal salary of 6,000,000 euros for the 2024-2025 season.
“It is respectfully announced to the public,” the Turkish club disclosed, confirming the signing of the 2023 African Footballer of the Year.
The former Lille player will wear the number 45 jersey for his new side.
In his four-year stint with Italian side, Napoli, the striker amassed 76 goals in 133 games across all competitions.
